Accommodation Options

White Elephant Safaris offers a two-bedroom cottage with a large veranda and open-plan kitchen, or a private bush camp with 7 thatched en-suite chalets. Each chalet has overhead ceiling fans. The cottage includes a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, and swimming pool. Both options have air conditioning and private bathrooms.

Dining & Self-Catering

Guests can self-cater in the fully-equipped kitchen, which includes all utensils. The cottage has an outdoor braai and fire boma facilities. There is no onsite restaurant; guests bring their own drinks and snacks for activities.

Activities & Wildlife

White Elephant Safaris offers game drives, rhino tracking, and research activities with experienced field guides. Water-based activities include fishing and boat cruises on Lake Jozini. Guests can also use the outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, and hiking trails. No self-driving is allowed on the reserve.

Location & Access

The property is inside the Pongola Game Reserve Wilderness, overlooking the reserve and Lake Jozini. The Golela border post into Swaziland is a 40-minute drive away. King Shaka International Airport is 316 km from the property. Road conditions to the cottage can be rough, and signage is poor.
